Charity screening sold out
“Few people pay to watch documentaries,” my co-producer reminded me. “Who in hell’s gonna pay double to watch ours?”
“Friends… I guess.”
“We don’t have that many friends.”
She was right, of course. We don’t. (It’s mostly me. I wreck our combined curve.)
But the few we have seem to have plenty of their own. Thanks to their network, tickets to Menstrual Man’s Singapore charity premiere on August 6th have sold out.
I’m humbled, of course, but also thrilled to have begun our fundraising drive on such a positive note. That “Sold Out” sign never looked so good.
